I am going to a two day #libday8 conference about leadership in a library context. I am on the train looking forward to learning and collaborating with colleagues to move libraries forward. I will keep you updated.
A reading recommendation for #libday8
I am not at work today. My daughter is sick so we are at home and have been reading a lot of good books. The one I will recommend is not for children even though it is a picture book - But it is amazing.
Monsters drawn on post-it notes… See more on John Kenn Mortensen’s blog (The Book might be hard to get outside Denmark even though it is “translateable because there is no text - but there are lot´s of monster drawings on the blog “Post-it monstre by John Kenn Mortensen”)
The #helptwil project is a sparetime project - so I usually work on it in the evenings, sometimes prepare things to publish for the next day. Ellen Forsyth made this wonderful video - Thank you Ellen….
It is great to lend a hand to Eric and Jaap. I love their show… it’s such a good way to explore the global library world…. It is also awesome to work with the rest of the Help TWIL team: Mylee Joseph, Nancy Dowd, Loida Garcia-Febo and Justin Hoenke.
Trainride so far #libday8: Reading documents to prepare for meeting in the board of Danish ask online library service “Biblioteksvagten”. Now reading tweets, writing email to #helptwil Team and answering email from @ellenforsyth - I have to change trains two times. Normally one could do.
Next: Relaxing… Music by Middle Brother. last.fm/janholmquist
Awake. First meeting as a board member of Danish national ask your library online service “Biblioteksvagten”. Meeting in Vejle - 3,5 hrs by train. #libday8
